General Sponsorship Information

There are three ways currently to provide resources to MSAIA and all levels make a statement about promoting the industry across the MidSouth region. Corporate sponsorship currently provides enough resources to avoid individual membership fees. In effect the corporate sponsors are subsidizing the administration and operations for the rest of the group.

The respective benefits include:
  1. Strategic partners have access to MSAIA strategic and events planning meetings, white paper preference in the website library archives, priority placement of logo & link on MSAIA.net home page, mention at events, RSVP preference to events and 10 guest passes to each quarterly networking event.
  2. Sustaining members have access to MSAIA event planning meetings, white paper preference in the website library archives, home page placement of logo & link on MSAIA.net home page, mention at events, RSVP preference to events and 5 guest passes to each quarterly networking event.
  3. Event sponsors make one-time commitments and receive primary recognition at the particular event sponsored.
Ongoing MSAIA costs include a part-time member services person, event planning and coordination, website development/ hosting/ maintenance, member database update, name tag maintenance, accounting and tax compliance, coordinating/ affiliating with other regional associations and resources (like the Center for Alternative Investments at Emory), expansion of networking events to Memphis and exploring a larger event format such as an annual, panel discussion gala event to raise money for a widely respected regional nonprofits (i.e. Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, St. Jude , etc.)

MSAIA is primarily engaged in activities that promote higher business standards, education and information sharing as a 501(c)(6) - business league. No part of MSAIA's net earnings is intended for political or legislative activities or for the benefit of any private individual. While the MSAIA is not organized for profit, it is operated with a self-sustaining purpose.
