General Sponsorship Information

Corporate sponsors currently provide resources to MSAIA which defrays the needs for individual membership fees. In effect the corporate sponsors are subsidizing the administration and operations for the entire membership.

In addition to making a statement to decision makers about promoting the alternative investment industry across the MidSouth region, corporate sponsors receive the following benefits:
                                                                                                                                                |   -------    Visibility on MSAIA.org   -------   |

Sponsorship                     MSAIA Events                            Logo Placement              White Paper

Strategic Partners           Exclusive among peers      Input, access & recognition              Primary                           Primary

Sustaining Members       Non-exclusive                    Access & recognition                      Secondary                      Secondary

Event Sponsors make one-time commitments and receive primary recognition at the particular event sponsored.

Ongoing MSAIA costs include a part-time member services person, event planning and coordination, website development/ hosting/ maintenance, member database update, name tag preparation & maintenance, accounting and tax compliance, coordinating/ affiliating with other regional associations and resources (like the Center for Alternative Investments at Emory University), expansion of networking events to additional cities and exploring a larger event format such as an annual, panel discussion gala event to raise money for a widely respected regional nonprofits (i.e. Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, etc.)

MSAIA is primarily engaged in activities that promote higher business standards, education and information sharing as a 501(c)(6) - business league and fundraising for worthwhile nonprofits.

No part of MSAIA's revenues is intended for political or legislative activities or for the benefit of any private individual.

While the MSAIA is not organized for profit, it is operated with a self-sustaining purpose and operates within the resources generated from sponsors and members.
