MidSouth Alternative Investment Association 

Since 2008, The MidSouth Alternative Investment Association ("MSAIA") has offered a professional environment for constructive dialogue and sharing among principal investors, through quarterly educational programs, networking events and other services designed to facilitate communication and to promote ethical standards within our community of institutional investors, single family offices, multi-family offices, high net worth investors, alternative investment money managers, professional service providers and academics.

Quarterly events charge $50 which is paid directly to select charitable organizations.

Asset allocator attendees include decision makers on at least $100 billion in assets. Staff attend from Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS) (~$75 billion), Vanderbilt University endowment (~$11 billion), Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (~$6.5 billion) and several Forbes 400 ultra high net worth families.

Membership has grown to approximately 800 members. The target members are alternative investment professionals in Nashville, Memphis, Birmingham, Huntsville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Louisville and points in-between.
